ABOUT
THE OWNERS
Katlyn and David Grice purchased WP Broadcasting, which is now Exciter Media in the summer of 2021. We are ecstatic to join this great community and build these radio stations, as this has been a dream 12 years in the making.
David has worked as a broadcast engineer since 2008 in the corporate world. Katlyn comes from a long line of entrepreneurs and has assisted in building small businesses for years. In 2015 we started our first independent business called Advanced Broadcast Services. We offer our clients broadcast engineering and tower services.
We are originally from Syracuse, New York but have lived in the Southwest since 2013. Our dream has always been to own and operate radio stations. We have substantially invested in technical upgrades in all three stations including transmitters, processing equipment, and programming. We have many more exciting changes coming soon that will better serve the Tularosa Basin. Our goal is to offer a high-quality experience with radio while tailor fitting commercial advertisements to meet everyone’s needs.
David and Katlyn’s two children have also joined the radio world and can be seen playing around the stations. The oldest, Lucas, even has an on-air bit on Coyote Country called “ Luies Laughs.”
